Melanie Nordstrom
Pastor and Counselor
Melanie has served with her husband for over 20 years in pastoral ministry. In addition to working alongside Phil, Melanie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is part of a professional counseling practice near the church. She also serves as the Executive Director for Community Life, a non-profit outreach ministry of Life Church. Melanie prepared for these ministries by obtaining a BA in Psychology from the University of Missouri, and both a Certificate in Theology and Masters in Social Work from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She also completed some doctoral courses at Bethel Seminary. Throughout her experience with church ministry she has been active in teaching and preaching, curriculum development, drama, administration and developing a broad variety of leaders and teams to meet the needs in churches and local agencies. Melanie is the proud mother of three amazing young adults. She loves to read, travel, host people in her home and give hugs. Melanie's passion is to develop leaders, teams and systems to help Life Church reach out to the hurting and to those who don't yet follow Jesus.
